WTS World Tax Service B.V. (hereinafter “we”, “us” or “WTS”) processes personal data as a data controller in the meaning and according to the European General Data Protection Regulation (hereafter: ‘the European Regulation’)

1. The subject of data protection is personal data

Personal data protected by the European Regulation is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Personal data that we process may include: your first and last names, prefix, title, contact details like your email address and phone number, your IP address, data related to your visit to our website, other personal data you may provide to us to attend a seminar or other event or that you may provide us or that we may obtain in relation to the purposes and grounds on which personal data is collected, processed and stored.

2. Collecting, processing and using personal data

As a rule, WTS shall only collect, process and use personal data to the extent permitted or prescribed by the European Regulation or other legal provisions or to the extent that you have consented to this as a user of our websites or otherwise.
WTS will not store your personal data any longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes for which the personal data was given or to comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Processing your personal data will be done by us based on performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, a legitimate interest or your consent.

In principle, we shall collect, process and use this data only for the required purpose, for example for processing your requests and/or for sending the respective publication. If, in exceptional circumstances, data is collected, processed and used for other purposes, this will only be carried out based on your consent.

5. Transmitting your data to third parties


Where required, we shall pass on personal data to companies outside WTS, taking into consideration data protection requirements. In principle, we shall not transmit personal data collected via this website to countries outside the European Union or European Economic Area. Anything else shall only come into question in the instance explained in Point 3.2.

6. Your rights to information, correction, blockage and deletion


You may demand information at any time from WTS as the responsible company regarding the data stored about you, the purpose of storing the data and its origins.
You shall also reserve the right to correct, block and delete your personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions.
